Today, I want to make a few comments about liars.
Have you ever thought about how the world would be different if lying didn’t exist?
Maybe it’s just my age but it seems it’s gotten worse. In the world of business, it horrible. If money is attached, anything will be said to get the “deal”. No regard for truth whatsoever. We are definitely in the Last Days in respects to this.
When I was young, if you wanted to get into a fight, just call someone a liar. The fight was on. Today, they just grin.
My Dad used to say, “A man is no better than his word”. Then a handshake was a seal or covenant. It was not to be taken lightly. Definitely not to be broken.
Today, contracts are everywhere. But in reality, their no good unless you have the financial means to make them stick.

If you sense frustration in me, your right. David was the same way though.
Psalm 116:11 (KJV) I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Revelations speaks of the liars.
Re 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
Re 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The book of Timothy I addresses them also:
1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Yes, we live in a time that everything has to be verified.
That’s not to say that everyone is a liar in our times. that’s not the situation. but it is way to common.
On the other hand, God is truth. His Word is Truth. Thy Word is Truth.
In a world of lying, we can stand on the Word of God to find Truth. To get that comfort that something is what it says it is. We have that security of knowing this.
I encourage any thoughts and opinions.
God bless you all,
Chaplain Rick
