Faith–King James Bible

Everything in our Christian life depends on faith. From our salvation right through to our walk for Jesus Christ, it all depends on faith. It therefore stands to reason that the Devil would attack us in that areal of our life. That basically means he attacks the Word of God like he did in the Garden of Eden with Eve.

Genesis 3:1 ¶ Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

It’s interesting to note that Eve misquoted what God had said to Adam also when she said that they couldn’t touch the tree.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Nothing about touching it. Of course, Eve wasn’t there as she hadn’t made yet.

The serpent/Devil had done his deed. He had cast doubt on God’s Word. Remember doubt is the opposite of faith.

Just a point of observation, when Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he didn’t misquote God’s Word because he knew Jesus Christ knew the Word.

Satan is systematic in that he always uses the same approach which is:

(a)-confusion, —did God actually say that?

(b)-doubt, –I’m starting to Doubt that God said that

(c)-disbelief –I don’t believe God said that

(d)-rebellion—I don’t have to do what God said

So how do we counter this? We first have to ask ourselves a few questions. They are:

  • Do you believe God?
  • (b) Do you believe what God said?
  • (c) Do you believe God’s promise to preserve His Words? Pure without errors?

Ps 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words

(d) If so, where are God’s promised and preserved words? I believe it’s the KJV.

(e) What kind of people does God say that He will use, according to the scriptures. II Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

Faith, without doubt, is what God is looking for.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

You have to have the faith that the Bible is from God Himself and it has no errors in it. Regardless of what the scholars say, we do have a bible like this.

I encourage any positive comments.
